We make 2 adapter kits for the MK (Mak /Cas) models. One size fits the MK65 scopes and the other size fits the MK67 and MK69 scopes. See bottom of this page for info on the MK adapter kits.

The MoonLite Intes adapter plates are designed to fit into the hole of the original curved plate. The MoonLite focuser bolts onto the adapter plate and then the adapter plate is inserted in to the existing MN base plate hole. Rotate the focuser to the desired orientation then lock it in place by tightening up the two original setscrews in the original Intes focuser base. Pick the correct MoonLite adapter size based on the opening of the original MN curved plate hole. We make 5 sizes of this style MoonLite adapter plate to fit 93mm, 78mm, 70mm, 65mm, and an old style threaded 67mm curve plates. Most options are available for the CR focusers such as, brass comp ring option, tri-knob option, motor focus option, pc interface, stepper motor option, focus lock, different drawtube sizes, and full custom anodized color options. Please consider ordering a short travel draw tube option when ordering the focuser so the draw tube will not protrude and bump into the light path when racked fully in. The 1.5" travel draw tubes are popular for both Intes Mak/Newts and Mak/Cas models. Use the pull down menu at the bottom of this page to select the correct adapter based on hole size opening. $40.00

MoonLite makes a special 2 part adapter that fits newer intes scope such as the MN74, MN55, and MN84 that use the 4 bolt pattern as shown above and below. Half of the adapter bolts on to the scope using the original small bolts that came with the existing focuser. Then the top part of the (2 part adapter) bolts to the MoonLite focuser and is then inserted into the bottom half of the adapter. 4 set screws lock the focuser in position after rotating to the desired orientation. This 2 part adapter cost $65.00

MoonLite produces 2 sizes of adapters for the intes MK (Mak/Cas) scopes. The MoonLite MK67/69 intes adapter fits both the MK67 and MK69 Mak/Cas models. The MK65 adapter fits the Intes MK65 Mak /Cas model. The new adapters allows a CR focuser using the Standard 2" travel draw tube to bolt directly on to the back of the Mak/Cas. The adapter is a plate that uses small set screws to hold it on to the visual back just like the stock focuser. The adapter kit comes with the adapter plate, a 1" and 1/2" spacers, and the bolts to install the new MoonLite focuser. The new adapter/kit allows the focuser to be orientate to any desired position. $50.00 Customer's report that the 2" travel draw tube focuser along with the install kit provide much needed additional back focus. This solves the short focus problem that hamper the Intes Mak/Cas models.
